Navarathri (meaning nine-nights) is celebrated with steps of doll displays in the southern state of Tamilnadu and with dance and music festivities in the northern parts of India. Whether you are in the North or South, the festivities always end with a feast on the 10th day (dussehra).

Featuring a colorful vegetable pulao (rice made with a mixture of vegetables and spices) & channa dhal shundal (lentils garnished with coconut and topped with a typical South Indian tadka). At last a serving of raita; a perfect accompaniment to any Indian meal.

-Each kit includes portions for 2 adults (+2 kids or leftovers).

-Once your meal kit is delivered, it can be stored in the fridge for 3 days before your final preparation.

-Includes everything you need to prepare at home, you’ll need:

  • Ingredients: vegetable oil, salt.

  • Equipment: 3 bowls, 2 small pots with lid, 1 small pan/skillet with lid, 1 medium skillet/wok, 2 cooking spoons, zester/microplane (if available), grater, cutting board/knife, measuring cups/spoons.
